SME Business, Flood Loss
On February 2014 Jakarta area was affected by flood due to heavy rain. Our client’s Chinese traditional medicine store in Jakarta was inundated for days affecting the part of the stocks and store operation.
Problem:
The store was family owned and self operated with minimum documentation. Due to lack of general knowledge of insurance, they encountered many difficulties in presenting and proving the loss to Insurers.
Solution:
Our claim consultant was engaged and provided assistance in the claim process including investigation of the extent of damage to each stock, preparing the claim documents and stock valuation and also proper disposal of the damaged stocks. We ensured that our client was indemnified fairly and able to recover their operation without inadvertent delay.
